I chose this hotel for attending a meeting as it allowed me to make the most out of my training. The facilities were well-maintained and provided a comfortable and conducive environment for work. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay.
The one service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center or work area. It would have been helpful to have a space with proper desks, chairs, and office equipment to work efficiently and comfortably.

I had a wonderful time staying at Surf N Stay for a few nights. The communal lounge was amazing, with yoga mats and blocks, a beautiful dining table, and super comfy and clean couches. The communal bathroom was huge, and the shower, once it heated up, was very soothing. I also loved the natural body products that were available for purchase - next time I'm there, I'll definitely buy some. The overall vibe of the place was simple, clean, and vibrant, and the beach was just a short walk away. The staff, especially Amanda, were fantastic and made us feel welcome. Thank you for making our stay memorable!
Would recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing time at Surf N Stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach. The staff were friendly and easy-going, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The vibrant atmosphere of the hostel added to the overall experience, and I loved being able to arrange surfing lessons and a kayaking trip through their shop. Despite some minor drawbacks, like the lack of heating in the room and the need to bring my own towels, I would still highly recommend Surf N Stay for anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable stay.

The hostel staff and owners were lovely people who made us feel at home. The beach was very close, just a short walk away. The hostel had a well-equipped kitchen and supermarkets were within walking distance, making it convenient for cooking meals. We also enjoyed the spacious top floor, which was perfect for big groups or families.
That we had to be quiet when moving around as noise easily carried downstairs. This might not be suitable for families with kids.

The location was great, just a short stroll away from the beach and also close to the town. The room was well-stocked with utensils in the kitchen, making it convenient for cooking meals. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze.
The lack of air conditioning in the room made it very uncomfortable during the day, and the fan provided only offered minimal relief. It was also inconvenient when we ran out of toilet paper and there were no extra rolls available.

Whangamata's stunning beaches and amazing waves kept me coming back. The surf lessons were a blast, but I definitely mastered surfers' etiquette and safety tips as soon as I hit the water.
Coaching surf skill development sounds fun, but unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to try it out.

The place is located in a nice area, just a short walk to the beach, which is beautiful on sunny days. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are basic but clean and spacious with added extras like a sofa and table. The continental breakfast is a nice bonus.
The noise from the outside delivery truck at 5am woke me up and disturbed my holiday.
